A rare entry point. The Liv-ex Fine Wine 1000 fell 28.8% from October 2022 to August 2025, while many new releases are still priced above older vintages.
Older vintages held up better. They returned +1.6%, against −2.5% for the Liv-ex 1000’s own wines, over the five years to September 2026.
They are leading the recovery. They are up 6.8% since August 2025, against 2.7% for younger wines, and ahead in all seven regions we track.
